ROADSTER

The roadster is the most recent addition to the Trevisol Custom Shop. Recently, we completed a double build of our first two offset-waist guitars. Modeled after the top-of-the-line guitars of its day, the Roadster has a larger, more comfortable shape and unique pickups and electronics. The offset-waist is more organic, and is fits extremely well on almost everyone. The Roadster uses Seymour Duncan Antiquity II pickups which replicate the wide-range single-coil pickups of the 60's. These pickups are wound wider and flatter than traditional single-coils, giving them a warm, yet exceptionally clear tone. The circuitry of the Roadster makes it capable of producing warm, open tones of a semi-hollow guitar, switchable to the tight and sustaining tone of a solidbody.

The roadster is an excellent platform for customization. Many iterations of it have popped up over the years, and we can do whatever you would like. The Roadster can house 2 or 3 pickups, P-90 Soapbars, Humbuckers, or even Strat-style single coils. The traditional floating bridge can also be replaced with a fixed Bridge and Stop Tailpiece, or even a wraparound tailpiece for a cleaner look. We don't, however, offer the Roadster with a Standard-style synchronized tremolo. We prefer to keep that feature exclusive to the Standard.
