The Trevisol Dragster is our newest creation – a compact, sleek guitar with all the resonance and full, open tone you’d expect of a semi-hollow. The secret to the Dragster’s versatility is its 3/8″ solid maple top, carved from one piece of wood in our unique carving process.

The Dragster’s sleek shape is complemented by it’s top contour, which is a constant radius, which tapers from 2 inches thick in the center, to 1 inch at the edges. This radius top combines a constant thickness for maximum projection and resonance with an ergonomic, effortless feel.

Combining big jazz-box sound in such a small package requires us to maximize the air space inside the guitar. To that end, the dragster is completely hollow, save for a small block beneath the bridge. To keep from being neck heavy, the dragster’s offset-wasit design balances it’s weight distribution.

As a solid body guitar, the dragster retains all the sustain and ergonomics of the hollow body, with added punch and clarity.

Our favorite pickup combination is a Tonerider Rebel 90 in the neck position, with an Alnico IV Classic in the bridge position. However, as with all our guitars, you can specify just about any other detail about the guitar that’s important to you.
